When using straight edges or anything your using in a deflected spray effect, such as a ray of light for example, when choosing the tool to use, consider it's HEIGHT, as a tool too short may allow undesired overspray to fall on your work unwittingly. Remember to use practice bursts and allow the pigmented liquid to flow so you can better judge the force and angle to use.
